UPDATE! National Day pictures :D

Current Mood: Nonchalant o (ーωー)/ (and just plain lazy really)
Listening to: Two Beds and a Coffee Machine by Savage Garden
Playing: PC - Neopets ( What? It's fun! ಠ_ಠ)
Reading: Disgrace by J.M Coetzee, Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

That's my McDonalds~

Argh. I really am a true procrastinator.
I haven't been updating my blog since forever. (hyperbole- Or not!)
(my record time for not updating my blog was 1 whole year! ゚ ヮ゚ )

I know National Day was like weeks ago but I dooon't caarreee ⊙3⊙
I'm going to blog about it anyway! Yayayay! Funfunfun!
And yes, my first ever National Day at IJ was (surprisingly) very fun. (≧ω≦)

BACKTRACK TO NATIONALDAY@IJC:

As a tribute to the Singapore flag, we were allowed to....
(cue drumroll)

wear Red/White T-shirts! Yayyayay!!
Ok. It wasn't that big of a deal. :P Whatever.
I wore my Red Taurus Tee! So did Mus! *hughug*
But Dianah (hoho) wore her lil brother's WHITE T-shirt

So much for BFF ಠ_ಠ
(Haha! Okay-okay. It was partly my fault. )

Oh! And IJ gave out one of the best-est National Day gifts EVER!

Tadaah! The cutest bunch of paperclips!
And there's even a pink one!
And we were given two sets since
half the class was absent on that day! *__*

I am a sucker for all things cute and free.

Anyway, somehow (I think Diyana suggested it) we ended
up using the paperclips as hair ornaments. ゚ ヮ゚
Yes. We're just plain awesome like that.
The teacher's and students around us were
like oogling at us. Haha xP

Presenting Rainbow Kawaii Sailor Moon Princess MUS!
With the sacred tiara of mini rainbow people!

And... Me and Diyana-Mus's Magical Super Kawaii Candy BFFs!

Diyana looks like she's tyring

to sell the mini green man in an advert! Haha xD

Diyana's SUPA KAWAII Magic Power: Rainbow Frenchbraid of DOOM LOVE.

And then we had the most unglamorous flag carrying ceremony~

(Maybe I'm being harsh but I truly miss BP's National Day.
With the marching in of each CCA contigent,
the Guard of Honour contigent who look AWESOME in white,
the flagpoles custom-made by the scouts,
the BP BAND complete with the drum beats that we use to time our drills,
and the absurdly HIGH spirits of the students~

ಥ_ಥ SOB *emoslitswristsemo*)

Anyway, after that, we went up to the gallery (since our class is SPECIALS <33)

to watch the concert for more camwhoring!

RAWR!

ROARRAWR!
Yes.

We all fail at trying to look fierce/scary/whatever we we trying to look like xD Haha

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

(Actually, that sounds really freaky...)

-taken from Mr.Hazrin Santa Claus is coming to Town

Mr. Hazrin is watching you. O_O

Bad, Mr. Hazrin. Pay attention to the concert!

(Left to right- Top: Me and a possessed Diyana

Bottom: Shi Min, Joyce, KayPoh Ai and Peiyi)

And caught in action- Diyana at her best-

Practising her Jampi/Black Magic

WHAT?

Presenting QUEEN of the Supa Kawaii Sailor Moon Mini Rainbow People:

DIYANA! <33

With a Supa Kawaii Sailor Moon Mini Rainbow CROWN!

(which is actually Shimin's rubberband on which she clipped the mini human paperclips!)

Finally, we settled down and watched the concert.
The fashion show was hillarious!

Each class had to send a representative who then
had to dress up as their designated role.
(e.g Yusoff Ishak, Lim Bo Seng, Stamford Raffles,
the Chinese coolies etc...and even the weight-lifting guy
who won an olympic gold o(≧ω≦)o )

Everyone was so sporting!
And some participants really stood out.

There was this Yusoff Ishak participant (2nd from the left in this pic) who brought
along a huge cardboard cutout of the Singaporean dollar note
and placed his head through the hole on the cutout where
yusoff ishak's face is xD

I wish I'd gotten a picture of him doing that though ಥ_ಥ

And we have Lt. Adnan!

The first contestant actually had
the same print of the pic as the one in the slide
and the guy was using it as some sort of a mask! xD

The second contestant (who won- he really deserved it anyway)
was awesome. Plus, he had this huge bazooka~

Our Sir Stamford Raffle(s)! And Hanif's there too!

He's the one in white (3rd from the left- excluding the MC ofcourse)

The Samsui Woman!

THE FINALE!

Where chaos (which includes random running across the stage) ensues!

To sum it up in one word National Day was: SUPAH FUN!

Okay, that's 2 words but just stating that it's FUN wouldn't do the day justice xP

Last but not least, ゚ ヮ゚ ♥

BOO!

The weekend following National Day was bliss.

Little (Redundant) Story Time:

On Saturday, my elder sister and I went out
on prowl for Stephenie Meyer's
newest twilight book, Breaking Dawn.
Well- she was anyway.
I wanted to get new handphone strapsfor my new handphone.
:3 Which is so pretty~

We went to Popular Causeway Point
but they weren't selling it yet.
They only had copies for those who pre-ordered the book.
I know! - i was like O_O "Whaaat??"

My sister then got annoyed at me
since I assured her before we went out
that Popular, Causeway Point had the book in stock.
(I'm sorrrryyy! ಥ_ಥ)

And that made me sulky (ಠ_ಠ )
Then, my sister suggested that
we take a cab to Takashimaya to get the book.
And that made me even sulkier (ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ)
since I haven't gotten the chance
to buy my handphonestraps.
Yes. I'm petty.

And take the cab we did.
The book was (thankfully) in stock at Kinokuniya.
My sister was like on a new high or something
when she got her hands on it.
She's really into the Twilight series I guess.

The last series I was that crazy for was Harry Potter.
I -love- the books. *_*
No other book has gotten me so crazed.

Anyway, I was still rather sulky(ಠ_ಠ)
since i wanted to get the handphone straps
back at Causeway Point.

So, we took a cab back to Causeway
and went shopping! For handphonestraps! <33>

Ooo! My sis also got me a pair of Everlast palm shoes! <33>
